About the role
To deliver on the strategic ambitions of the Global Finance & Performance function in Energy Systems BA Centre we are building a team of highly qualified Finance Performance professionals who are interested in working close to the Energy transition. Our BA Centre Global Finance and Performance team is seeking a Global Analyst to drive efficient and insightful management reporting, value creating data-driven analytics, and consolidated financial planning within Energy Systems. The role also has a strong focus on DNV Group reporting in line with DNV reporting frameworks and the annual financial wheel.
The Global Analyst is a central position within the Global Finance & Performance BA Centre of Expertise and reports to Global Finance & Performance Manager, with a dotted line to the Global Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. The Global Analyst will build management reporting models and financial analytics that uses the DNV data sets that enables diagnostic analysis and projection of performance on different levels and across various DNV metrics. This person engages with the relevant stakeholders at Group and with the regional finance & performance organizations.
To be successful in this position you need to understand DNV financial models; Energy Systems business models and strategic drivers; experience of the building and working with value adding KPIs and be ready to become an expert in the tools needed to analyse the business with professional visualisation.

Primary tasks of this role:
- Supports the monthly and quarterly reporting process with accurate reporting and analysis.
- Delivers deep diagnostic analytics to support the Improvement Units in Energy Systems.
- Works with data to deliver analytics to support the quarterly Forecasting & Annual Operating Plan.
- Build Key Performance Indicators connected to the relevant data sets and can present them with professional visualization.
- Work with the customer, finance & project data to deliver forward looking insights.
- Supports Finance & Performance Director and Global Finance & performance Manager with ad hoc tasks.

About you
Position Qualifications:
- Suitable finance qualification from a degree or other professional qualification.
- Over 3 years of relevant working experience in financial analysis or similar role is preferred.
- Understanding of the Energy Systems services and business models, experience from other Business Areas in DNV or the industry is an advantage.
- Experience of working DNV’s data models is required while experience with other financial tools is an advantage. Has collaborated with stakeholders at various levels.
