About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Safety and Risk Management Consultant with expertise in PCB design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that safety-critical systems comply with industry safety standards and regulations, analyzing and mitigating risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Safety:

• Execute functional safety activities in compliance with IEC 61508, ISO 26262 and IEC 61511 standards.
• Develop safety concepts, requirements, and architecture.
• Conduct safety analyses at the system level, including FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and FTA (Fault Tree Analysis).
• Lead system hazard analysis and safety concept development activities.

Risk Management:

• Identify and assess risks associated with safety-critical systems.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Cyber security risk assessment related to safety critical system.

PCB Design:

• Assessment of PCB design for safety-critical systems.
• Ensure PCB designs meet safety and reliability standards.
• FMEDA

About you

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in functional safety and risk management.
• Proficiency in IEC 61508, IEC 61511, ISO 26262 standards.
• Strong knowledge of PCB design.
• Experience with safety analysis techniques such as FMEA and FTA.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
