Åkerblå Group AS is a leading provider of services to the aquaculture industry, public sector, research and educational institutions, and other organizations. Åkerblå AS is growing rapidly, and we therefore want to strengthen the fish health team at our office in Alta. In the job as a fish health consultant in Åkerblå, you get a varied working day, with a few days out in the field, and a few days in the office. You get to spend a lot of time out in the beautiful northern Norwegian nature, and will experience both beautiful twilight and sunsets, but also wind, rain, sleet and snow. With an office location in Alta, there will be some travel to our customers. It is therefore a great advantage if you enjoy driving a car, both summer and winter.
You will be part of our fish health team in Region North, which serves customers from the south of Nordland to Finnmark. Our activity is mainly related to salmon, in addition to some cleaner fish and cod. At Åkerblå, we are also working to develop new technical solutions for fish health follow-up. Key tasks will be fish health controls of both food fish and hatcheries, in addition to follow-up of treatments. We place great emphasis on professional development, and motivated employees will have the opportunity to participate in both internal and external projects. As a new employee, you will be guaranteed a safe and good start by participating in our training programs.
