The position

By joining our team in Technology, Digital & Innovation you will have the opportunity to:

  • Join the Marketing and Supply Solutions cluster within Equinor's TDI (Technology, Digitalisation and Innovation) business area. We develop, implement and maintain a portfolio of applications that support our energy trading value chains including pre-trade analytics, trading and transportation, logistics optimisation, risk management and settlement processes across all commodities.
  • Lead the work within your own solution area or portfolio.
  • Be accountable for translating and communicating business strategy impact, on current and future solution and information architecture.
  • Enable value creation in Equinor’s global mid and downstream area.
  • Advise the organisation in understanding the relationships between business capabilities, information and IT systems.
  • Identify opportunities and threats that technology trends may impose on own solution area.

You

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent. Experience may compensate for a lack of formal education.
  • 5 years+ experience in Enterprise IT architecture, understanding of business capabilities, information, data and solutions.
  • Hands-on experience from working in an IT software development team.
  • Strong ability to apply conceptual thinking and working with both abstract and concrete models.
  • Solid leadership capabilities and willingness to set direction.
  • Collaborative mindset and motivation to build networks, both with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to learn and to understand emerging IT trends and technologies.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral.
