DeepOcean has exciting opportunities for Engineers! Our Offshore Wind activity is growing and we are looking for: Senior Project Engineer, Lead Project Engineer, Project Technical Manager.If your experience and focus is within marine operations, power cable installation, repair and trenching, we would like to hear from you.

As a member of the DeepOcean’s Engineering community (200 engineers plus), with offices in Scotland (Aberdeen) and Norway (Haugesund, Stavanger and Oslo), you will have the opportunity to work in the fast -paced, challenging but rewarding environment as we transform and grow our business into a world-leading ocean services provider, enabling the energy transition and sustainable use of ocean resources.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Lead or participate in engineering, planning and execution of projects.
  • Lead or Participate in tendering and studies.
  • Development of installation methods and equipment.
  • Deliver commercially and technically optimized solutions that are aligned with the Client and DeepOcean expectations and are fit for purpose.
  • Communicate with clients and sub-contractors.
  • Liaise with HSEQS to ensure all project/tender specific HSEQS requirements are achieved.
  • Participate in offshore operations as required as part of offshore team.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering degree.
  • Demonstrable experience (min. 2 years) within any of the following:
    - Offshore marine operations,
    - Power cable installation and repair, specifically in inter array cables,
    - Trenching and seabed protection.
  • Fluent English.
