The position

By joining our team in Marketing, Midstream & Processing you will have the opportunity to:

Work as a Life Cycle Information (LCI) engineer with a combination of responsibilities in both LCI coordination and LCI document control.

Within LCI coordination, the primary tasks are:

  • Actively ensure that technical documentation from study to project completion is finalized.
  • Quality assurance and follow-up of external contractor LCI deliveries in projects.
  • Act as a support function for the professional communities and contribute to training in LCI requirements, methods, and tools.

Within document control, the primary tasks are:

  • Conduct document control throughout the document life cycle and ensure storage, retrieval, and distribution.
  • Establish and update drawing and document numbers.
  • Contribute to training/provide support to users in document control.

The Life Cycle Information unit is part of Technical Integrity and Improvement, which works across Equinor's onshore facilities comprising the Onshore Plant organization. The Life Cycle Information unit is responsible for managing technical integrity delivery within life cycle information. As an engineer within LCI, you will have a motivating workplace with exciting and varied tasks, and opportunities to develop within different facilities and departments in the organisation and Equinor.

  • Bachelor's degree or technical college degree within relevant technical subjects.
  • Relevant experience (preferably 5 years or more) can compensate for formal competence requirements.
  • Experience as an LCI coordinator or experience in handling LCI in projects and/or modifications.
  • Operation, maintenance, and/or general project experience.
  • Familiarity with STID, SAP, Procosys, PIMS DC.
  • Good understanding of operations in industrial plants such as Hammerfest LNG.
  • Good communication skills in English and Norwegian (written and spoken), and a desire to work in Hammerfest.
