We are looking for Engineers to strengthen our HVAC-department in Stavanger. As an Engineer you will be working as Package Responsible Engineer and also be responsible for system design philosophy/design basis for HVAC systems with respect to functional requirements, control philosophy and operational philosophy.

About the position

In Aibel you will be part of a multidisciplinary environment. You get the opportunity for professional development and a comprehensive understanding of engineering by participating in studies, tender work, FEED and general project work. You will work closely with colleagues from your own discipline and other disciplines, follow up suppliers and deliver good solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities and tasks include

  • Coordinate and follow up of the HVAC system design and the area design
  • Ductwork design
  • Cooling calculations, and calculations of air flow rate based on ventilation requirement and heat emissions
  • Selection of HVAC equipment with regards to capacity and feasibility
  • Technical Inquiries for HVAC equipment and Bulk
  • Ensure coordination of the HVAC design with other disciplines

Qualifications

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree
  • Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education
  • Min. 1-3 years of working experience in HVAC System design or HVAC PRE in Oil & Gas industry,preferred from Norwegian Continental Shelf
  • PDMS/E3D and offshore survey experience can be an advantage

  • Ability to work independently and thoroughly as well as ability to work in team
  • Good communication skills
  • Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
  • Be proactive, seeking advice, share own experiences with others and be a good colleague
