The position

By joining our team in Marketing, Midstream & Processing you will have the opportunity to:

  • Monitor the technical condition of the plant, design requirements, and assess possible measures.
  • Provide technical support for the operation and maintenance of electrical installations.
  • Contribute to the strengthening and modernization of the plant.
  • Provide input and technical support during modifications, projects, plant shutdowns, and revision shutdowns.
  • Evaluate technical integrity in projects, and process relevant documents as needed.
  • Contribute to identifying and investigating climate/CO2 reduction measures.
  • Prepare technical requisitions for procurement, as well as evaluation and approval.
  • Contribute with input to the technical life cycle plan while managing risk and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) in design.

You

  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, and it is advantageous if you additionally have a relevant technical certificate.
  • You have competence within high-voltage/low-voltage systems, preferably focused on the oil and gas industry.
  • You have experience in digital working tools such as SAP.
  • You have experience in managing risk and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) in design.
  • You have experience in assessing and monitoring the technical condition of operational installations, design requirements, and possible measures.
  • You are a team player with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • You are motivated to solve tasks in a dedicated and responsible manner.
  • You are fluent in Norwegian (written and spoken), you are proficient in English, and you have a desire to work in Hammerfest.
