Electrical Senior Engineer

Jefferson Wells is looking for an experienced Electrical Senior Engineer to join a long-term assignment for our client in Asker. The ideal candidate has strong experience from greenfield EPC projects and deep knowledge of relevant standards such as DNV, NORSOK, and IEC. The employment will be with Jefferson Wells, and the role is a full-time, on-site engagement.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Design and follow-up of electrical systems during the detail phase of a project
• Serve as Electrical Technical Responsible (SRE) for packages such as Mechanical, Essential Generator, Helideck, and small power
• Serve as Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for low voltage switchboards, UPS packages, etc.
• Provide input to load lists and system descriptions
• Follow up on vendor documentation and participate in FAT/test activities
• Plan and execute Engineering Work Packages (EWPs)
• Collaborate and interface with other disciplines, vendors, and client

Background and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or relevant field)
• Valid FSE course with First Aid and EX Basic course
• Minimum 5 years of experience in greenfield EPC projects
• At least 3 years of engineering experience related to electrical systems or package design
• In-depth understanding of electrical design standards: DNV, NORSOK, IEC
• Fluent English skills, both oral and written
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Independent, structured, and proactive approach
• Ability to deliver high-quality work on time
