Electrical E3D Designer for Aker Solutions

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Electrical E3D Designer with experience in onshore or offshore projects.

The project is led from Bergen.

Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

What will you be doing?

• Create detailed electrical designs
• Generate and review drawings
• Collaborate with engineers and architects
• Ensure compliance with standards
• Perform calculations
• Quality assurance
• Project coordination

Qualifications we think you should have:

• Proficiency in AVEVA E3D software
• Experience in equipment modeling
• Field experience/practical experience in electronics and instruments
• Experience in cable duct modeling in E3D
• Experience with cable trays and equipment support in E3D
• Experience in DRAW (Drawing program from E3D)
• Relevant education
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
