We are the world’s leading classification society and a recognized advisor for the maritime industry. We enhance safety, quality, energy efficiency and environmental performance of the global shipping industry – across all vessel types and offshore structures. We invest heavily in research and development to find solutions, together with the industry, that address strategic, operational or regulatory challenges.
Maritime Digital Development Microsoft Dynamics 365 specialist
Class Development is about 150 people strong, and we are responsible for the maritime digital platform in DNV. Several development teams at 4 locations handle more than 400 applications, used by thousands of people internally and externally, 24/7, all over the world.
As part of our application portfolio, we have included Microsoft Dynamics 365. Now we are looking for highly motivated MS Dynamics 365 developer/functional architect to further strengthen our development center in Høvik. You will be a part of the global Maritime development team tasked with delivering state-of-the-art solutions and helping customers reach their goals.
As a Dynamics 365 specialist, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and implementing solutions on the Power Platform, with a focus on Dynamics 365. You will work closely with business analysts, project managers, and customers to build solutions that meet specific business requirements and challenges. As this modules are tightly integrated with the rest of the application portfolio close collaboration with the development team is needed. You will also contribute to optimizing existing solutions and ensuring that applications are scalable, secure, and efficient.
Your day to day will include:
- Configurate, administrate and develop Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement modules like Sales, Customer Service and Field Service
- Troubleshooting and maintenance: Identify and resolve technical issues in Dynamics 365 DNV applications and workflows.
- Security and data access: Implement security measures and ensure applications follow best practices for data access and privacy.
- Optimize system performance and ensure that applications and workflows run optimally.
- Collaborate with teams on creating solutions, solving real problems, and seeing them through to completion in cases where Dynamics 365 is relevant
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in relevant technology.

About you
To qualify you have some of the following experiences and interest in adding on:
- Software development competence and experience
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement: Knowledge and experience with customization and development in Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, or other modules or dedicated interest of getting this experience
- Integrations: Experience with integrating Power Platform solutions with other systems
- Scripting and automation: Experience with JavaScript, C#, or other relevant programming for custom functions in Power Apps and Dynamics 365.
- Experience with APIs: Skills in working with APIs, both for integrations and customization of Power Platform solutions.
- Database skills: Familiarity with Dataverse (Common Data Service) and related database concepts.
- Experience with Agile methodology: Knowledge of agile development methods (Agile/Scrum) and continuous build and deploy.
- Fluent in English to get the message across loud and clear
