About the role

As the Digital Innovation Manager in Marketing and Communications Technology at DNV Group, you will support DNV's overall strategy and business objectives through leading the development and implementation of innovation-focused elements within the Marketing and Communications technology strategy.

You will drive the evaluation, adoption, and governance of digital tools and technologies, support enhanced customer journeys through innovative solutions, and ensure ongoing security and compliance across the digital portfolio. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, you will foster continuous learning and keep the department at the forefront of emerging trends and digital capabilities.

The role will report to the Head of Communications and Marketing Technology and be part of the Group Communications, Public Affairs and Sustainability function.

The working language is English, and this position is based in Høvik, Norway.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage innovative initiatives and projects related to implementation of the Marketing and Communications technology strategy, supporting enhanced customer journeys and boosting digital engagement.
  • Be at the forefront of emerging trends and technologies to evaluate and assess the relevance and potential fit with the Marketing and Communications technology strategy. This includes assessment of new tools for potential adoption.
  • Develop governance frameworks and guidelines to ensure responsible and effective use of relevant digital tools and technologies. This includes overseeing security and compliance processes for the existing digital tool portfolio, ensuring all tools continue to meet DNV’s internal standards for security and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business areas, IT, and external agencies, to support strategic initiatives and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Manage projects related to Marketing and Communications Technology ensuring efficient use of resources, timelines and budgets, as agreed with Head of Communications and Marketing Technology.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Facilitate the development and enhancement of the Marketing and Communications team's skills in emerging innovation trends and tools to maintain the department’s leadership in digital capabilities.

About you

  • A university degree (BA or Master) in Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B/B2C/B2P marketing and communications, with a strong focus on digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Proven experience in working with and delivering complex digital projects, implementing innovative solutions across multiple countries/locations.
  • Project management experience, ideally with certification in an agile framework.
  • In-depth knowledge of AI and its applications in marketing and communications.
  • Strong understanding of digital customer journeys and a customer-centric approach to project management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external agencies.
  • Native English speaker or equivalent Business English language skills, both written and oral.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as required.
