About The Accelerator

We rapidly nurture successful businesses and services that will shape the future of assurance. The Accelerator operates a portfolio of units undergoing significant growth, chiefly through acquisitions and partnerships. The Accelerator acts as a greenhouse for a strategically selected portfolio of businesses, each of which serves different industries and markets. Three business units were housed in the Accelerator in 2022: Cyber Security, Digital Health, and Inspection.

About the role

We seek ambitious and driven Cyber Security Consultants to join our growing IT and OT cyber security organisation. Our team support national and international corporate customers with cyber security strategy development, provides cyber security governance, risk and compliance services, security assessments, technical verification and advisory services to increase resilience to cyber-attacks. You will be working in exciting projects for customers in key industries including maritime, oil and gas, power production, renewables, utilities, public services, and others.

You will get the opportunity to work alongside some of the most experienced specialists within industrial cyber security, quickly develop competence and experience enabling fast career progression. We will invest in you by offering in-depth training and the chance to participate in industry-leading courses and projects.

You will be based at one of DNV’s premises in Norway, preferably at Høvik, but other locations can be considered for the right candidate. We can offer attractive office locations and we practice flexible home office solutions.

About you

Our Cyber Security Services unit, DNV Cyber, is growing, and we are now looking for new colleagues joining our team in Norway with:

• A formal education at a BSc level or above in relevant areas such as cyber security, information security, computer science, telecom or cybernetics. Relevant experience can compensate for formal education.
• At least 2 years’ experience within one or more of the following:
  • Cyber security
  • Information security
  • Operational technology / industrial & automation controls
  • Experience with the IEC62443 standard for security in control and automation systems
  • Incident response/SOC Experienced
  • Digital forensic education
  • Security architecture design and review
  • Cloud security
  • Risk analysis and management
  • Previous consulting experience is an advantage
• Cyber security certifications such as CISSP/CISM and related to ISO27000 are an advantage
• Qualified to achieve Norwegian security clearance.
• Fluent oral and written Norwegian and English language skills.
• Good written and spoken communication skills; precise, efficient, structured and clear.
• A customer-oriented mindset with the ability to build and develop good relationships with customers and colleagues
• A good team player with positive, constructive, and solution-oriented “can-do” attitude who is sharing and collaborating effectively with others
