The position

By joining our team in Technology, Digital & Innovation you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform cyber advisory and assurance work on the IT deliveries towards the Enterprise Solutions IT portfolio.
• Advise based on deep insight into Equinor cyber requirements and governance, understanding of cloud security and the challenges associated with securing cloud-based systems, in addition to emerging technologies such as AI, IoT and blockchain and their potential security risks.
• Guide and help various teams in performing the security risk assessments of existing and upcoming IT applications.
• Give advice and analyze the security posture in accordance with the ever-changing and latest security threats and trends.
• Ensure security in integrations with external vendors via various middleware technologies and / or modern API implementations, etc.
• Participate in relevant Equinor arenas and sync plans with other cyber security initiatives and improvements relevant for the Enterprise Solutions IT portfolio, including handling interfaces with other Equinor cyber security teams.
• Contribute to the broader Equinor security network in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.

For this position, we are also looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in cyber security.
• Experience in interpretation of known standards and frameworks like ISO27001, ISO27002, IRAM2, NIST and OWASP.
• Awareness and knowledge related to GDPR and handling of personal data, and in particular competence on security architecture.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to take ownership to business outcomes and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Experience of working in large and complex landscapes.
