About the role

“Do you want to join our Technology Centre as a Composite Material Engineer to develop and apply your skills on disruptive technologies in a team of world-leading experts?”

Right now, we are helping the energy industries develop new solutions with a particular focus on decarbonization. We are running several projects within wind, hydrogen, carbon capture and storage. We also develop new solutions to reduce carbon emissions from production of Oil & Gas.

DNV Technology Centre Oslo has a significant team of experts working with composites, polymers and metallic materials. We also have a large capacity laboratory facility. Our team of engineers and technicians create and deliver world-class material, structural integrity and laboratory services that range from early concepts, through to detailed design and operations. For this we cooperate with the broader global DNV organization. We develop some of the key DNV standards and recommended practices for composite materials and structures.

Our services cover technology qualifications, laboratory testing, failure investigations, condition assessments, fitness for service assessments and life extension studies. Additionally, we invest heavily in R&D in close co-operation with industry and internal domain experts, using our accumulated knowledge to shape the future of the industry standards and best practices.

We are seeking motivated and experienced Senior Composite Material Engineer to meet the market demand for increased use of composites. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills, as well as experience with polymers and composites, preferably within the energy industries.
