To continue our growth as an established consulting group in southern and eastern Norway, we are looking for fire safety engineers to join our team. We are working alongside our customers on some of Norway's most significant and notable projects within hospitals, airports, data centers, infrastructure, apartment buildings, rehabilitation projects and more.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Fire safety engineering and advisory on local, national and international building projects. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Participate in project meetings and provide technical knowledge.
- Discipline Lead in smaller or larger projects

In addition, you have:
- A relevant university degree in engineering (B.Sc./M.Sc.) with minimum 3 years of professional experience
- Analytical skills, and preferably experience with tools like FDS/ Pyrosim, Pathfinder, B-Risk etc.
- Knowledge of building codes and standards.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
COWI has customers and projects that may require security clearance at various levels. There may therefore be requirements for security clearance in some projects/positions.
