The position
By joining our team in Marketing, Midstream & Processing you will have the opportunity to:
- Manage facility's controllers and control systems, including the server infrastructure, and be responsible for aproving changes.
- Manage system updates on servers and clients.
- Support the operation of the electrical grid control and industrial network solutions.
- Maintain, develop, and utilize APC (Advanced Process Control).
- Develop and test advanced and basic control functions.
- Safeguard the content and operation of data systems and databases.
- Take care of technical responsibility on assigned tasks in teams and/or lines.
- Support the technical maintenance of the simulator.
You will be part of the Technical Plant Optimisation Automation department that is responsible for follow-up of the integrity of technical barriers covering Human Machine Interface and alarm management, as well as Safety and Automation System Security.
Overall, the department holds the necessary expertise in relation to being able to fulfil technical responsibility.
This includes process control systems, electro control systems, emergency shut down control systems, Industrial IT and technical grid, and other third party control systems.
You

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in automation, cybernetics or other relevant degrees.
- 7 years or more of relevant work experience is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Expertise in instrumented safety systems.
- Experience from operation and maintenance of control systems.
- Experience from following, developing and improve work processes in compliance with governing documentation.
- Good system understanding and the ability to see technical relationships that can simplify processes.
- A drive to look beyond specific tasks and create good synergies between the different interfaces that the department has.
- Good communication skills in English (written and spoken), willingness to learn and practise Norwegian, and a desire work in Hammerfest.
