About the role
We are now strengthening our aquaculture unit with someone who will deliver technical verification of systems to the aquaculture industry. We are looking for professionals who want to contribute to further improvement of this exciting and innovative industry.
You will support our customers with your professional technical expertise and DNV’s methodology and approach in verification, product certification and preferably analyses. You will have the opportunity to work with a varied customer portfolio. You will work independently and customer-oriented, within a strong and supportive professional environment of colleagues.
You will get to know the Norwegian aquaculture industry well and gain insight into innovation processes and the latest technology developments. You will develop a large and unique network of contacts and build relationships with professionals who are also dedicated to ensure sustainable seafood for future generations.

Your tasks will be, but not limited to:
- Verification and secure technical integrity
- Risk assessment
- Documentation and certification requirements
- Approval and certification of aquaculture concepts
- Analyses of marine and aquaculture constructions
- Be a key resource within your field of competence

About you
Requirements:
- MSc in marine or structural engineering
- Minimum 2 years experience in aquaculture
- Material knowledge
- Systematic and accurate
- Fluent oral and written communication skills in Norwegian
Advantage:
- Experienced with NS 9415 and DNV rules
- Experienced with analyses software e.g. Abaqus, Wadam, Simo/Riflex, SolidWorks, GeniE, Aquasim.
- Minimum 2 years experience within
- Structural analyses of marine constructions
- Hydro analyses marine constructions
- Mooring analyses for marine constructions
- Experienced with FEM analyses
- Fluent oral and written communication skills in English
